CAREER SUMMARY

After securing an honours degree in Product Design Engineering, I went on to complete an apprenticeship in Carpentry & Joinery. I have worked in the construction of design and build apartments and town houses in various London boroughs.

In 2008 I retrained as a CAD technician and subsequently gained employment as a  project co-ordinator and draughtsperson in domestic aluminium frame windows and doors and commercial curtain walling. As such I am experienced in dimensional site surveys.

2010 saw me move away from construction and into engineering as a piping designer and engineering draughtsman in the energy industry. I have produced Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams and designed equipment layouts with an eye for both functionality and usability. I have experience producing 3D models and 2D fabrication and assembly drawings. I am confident liaising with professionals at all levels and am skilled at troubleshooting. From my work in the engineering field I am also adept at navigating data management and document control systems.

Following a life-long interest in sustainable practices my move to Energy and Sustainability Consultant was made in early 2022 when I attended Introduction to BREEAM training course before starting work on commercial and residential BREEAM In-Use Assessments with Easlar. I became a certified BREEAM In Use Assessor in June 2023.
